Flax banana smoothie

Take 50 gram of flax seeds, roast them in a hot pan until crispy, take half of roasted flax seed and grind them. Mix both whole and grinded flax seeds together. Add 1cup chilled yogurt. Add 1 teaspoon honey or stevia drops as per sweetness required. Add 1 medium size sliced banana on the top of the smoothie. Enjoy a chilled smoothie for your morning snacks.

High Protein Content

Flax seeds contains more than 18 g protein per 100 g. It’s an excellent source of protein for vegetarians as even egg provide 14 g protein per 100 g. Flax seeds can also be added to wheat flour to make the flour protein rich, it keeps the chapattis soft due to its high oil content. Proteins are important for muscle building and skin firming.
